Welcome to Hallowed Ravens of Midgard Kindred
We are a community of Pagans/Heathens who gather in the Fort Worth area to honor our ancient traditions.

Who We Are?
The Hallowed Ravens of Midgard Kindred is a space for those seeking connection, purpose, and a deeper sense of belonging.
We are a community built on shared values, respect, and growth—where individuals from different spiritual paths come together to learn, connect, and stand in unity. Rooted in Norse tradition, we honor the past while creating something meaningful in the present.
About us
The Hallowed Ravens of Midgard Kindred is a community of Heathens and Pagans grounded in a deep respect for Norse heritage and mythology. We gather to honor tradition, reflect on the teachings of the gods, and strengthen the bonds that unite us.
We are a nondenominational, faith-based community with a strong foundation in Norse tradition, while embracing a multi-faith environment. While many of our members follow Norse practices, we also welcome individuals from diverse pagan and spiritual backgrounds. Our members may walk different paths, but we come together through shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to growth and understanding.
Our focus is not only on tradition, but on building a stable and supportive community where individuals can grow, learn, and align with their values. Whether someone is seeking spiritual connection, cultural enrichment, or a place to belong, we aim to provide a grounded and welcoming environment.
Our Commitment
We are committed to being a family friendly environment and take the safety and security of all those who are involved with us very seriously.
To uphold the integrity of our community, we have a zero-tolerance policy for violence and proudly say our community will remain sex offender free.
Prospective members participate in an in-person introduction held in a public setting. This allows both parties to connect, ask questions, and ensure the community is a good fit.
Identification is required as part of this process to run a background check to support the safety and security of everyone involved.

What is Paganism?
Paganism is a broad term used to describe a variety of spiritual or religious practices that are often rooted in nature worship, polytheism (belief in multiple deities), and ancient traditions. Historically, the term was used to refer to non-Abrahamic religions, including those practiced in Pre-Christian Europe. Modern Paganism, also known as Neopaganism, encompasses a range of belief systems such as Wicca, Druidry, Heathenry, and other eclectic or reconstructionist paths. At its core, Paganism often emphasizes harmony with nature, seasonal cycles, and individual spiritual freedom, without rigid dogma or centralized authority. While ancient Pagan practices were diverse and culturally specific, today’s Pagans may draw inspiration from these traditions while blending them with contemporary values and personal beliefs.
Kindred vs. Coven: What's the Difference?
In the realm of modern Paganism, the terms "kindred" and "coven" are often used to describe different types of spiritual or community groups, but they are not interchangeable. A pagan kindred typically refers to a group associated with Heathen traditions, such as Asatru or other Norse-based practices. Kindreds often emphasize familial bonds, shared cultural heritage, and community rituals centered around deities like Odin, Freyja, and Thor. On the other hand, a pagan coven is most commonly linked to Wiccan or witchcraft traditions, where a group of practitioners gathers to perform rituals, celebrate Sabbats, or engage in magical workings. Coven members often follow a structured hierarchy and work closely with deities such as the God and Goddess, focusing on balance, duality, and personal spiritual growth. While both kindreds and covens provide a sense of community and shared practice, their differences lie in their spiritual focus, structure, and cultural roots. Understanding these distinctions can help you find the group that aligns with your spiritual path.
This is where our kindred stands out, as it is a mixture of both. We blend together in fusion.
Our members are not all strictly Norse/Heathens. We have many with more spiritual or differing Pagan paths.
